A slightly more traditional writer, Lewis has literally created a land of fauns, talking creatures and kings and princes in an unsuspecting world of the pro-Victorians. However, don’t think that this is any old fairy tale telling the usual damsel-in-distress story. No, no, this is an excellent work of ingenious. Lewis tells a tale of 4 young children who have discovered an entrance to the World of Narnia through a cupboard. The books tell of the amazing adventures which they, and a couple of other people have in this amazing realm.
You would tend to think of this as a very complicated series, but in-fact it is a very easy-to-understand tale which makes it very suitable for young readers.
