Well, what can I say about these charmers? ….nothing apart from the words: brilliant, magnificent, vivid and unique. Explanation: Paul Stewart has written a witty series by creating an upside down world where ships sail the skies and rocks fly whilst vulgar creatures known as shrikes create entire moveable cities of wood. His books are something unique which I’ve never seen before. And Chris Riddell’s magnifiquè illustrations are creating a vivid picture in your mind. I swear he is the best illustrator who I have seen in my life. The two of them making an unbeatable pair. Suitable for age range: 10+
